Matthew O. Williamson DPM
Dr. Williamson, a Lincoln native, received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Gerontology from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He then relocated to Chicago and obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Dr. Williamson’s three year surgical residency training was completed at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, and involved all aspects of podiatric medicine, elective surgery, trauma, advanced wound care/limb salvage, and included reconstructive rearfoot and ankle certification.
Dr. Williamson believes that a strong relationship and comfort between doctor and patient contributes significantly to the quality of care delivered and received. His mission is to offer a comprehensive, personalized treatment regimen for any foot and ankle issue with the goal of restoring function and improving the life of each patient. He strives to use evidence based medicine to achieve non-surgical cures, but when surgery becomes necessary he possesses the fine skill and artistry to achieve excellent outcomes. He is very excited and honored to be able to treat and help patients in his hometown.
Dr. Williamson is a member of the Nebraska Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Podiatric Medical Association. He is currently on medical staff at Bryan East and West in Lincoln. He also has an outpatient clinic and performs surgery at Beatrice Community Hospital as well as Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville, Kansas.
