John J. Tennity, DPM, FACFAS
Dr. Tennity is a native of Rochester, New York, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1992 from the Doctor William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at the Norwegian American Hospital and is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Tennity specializes in foot and ankle surgery, treating conditions such as bunions, hammertoes, neuromas, heel spurs, tendon repairs, including damage caused by chronic conditions such as diabetes, trauma, arthritis and congenital malformations. He has performed a range of surgical foot and ankle procedures from common foot conditions to complex foot and ankle reconstruction.
Dr. Tennity is the past president of the Nebraska Podiatric Medical Association, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Nebraska Podiatric Medical Association. In 2009, Dr. Tennity was appointed to the State of Nebraska Board of Health by Governor Heineman.
